Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Detective Branch has apprehended renowned actor,
politician, and activist Asaduzzaman Noor.
Noor, the former Minister of
Cultural Affairs, was arrested late Sunday night from the Nawratan Colony on
Bailey Road, with officers moving in at around 11 p.m. The arrest was confirmed
by Deputy Commissioner Md Talebur Rahman of the DMP’s Public Relations and
Media wing.
According to official sources, Noor
is implicated in an ongoing legal case filed with the Mirpur Police Station,
